Adeniyi Roluga
President & CEO

 

Mr. Adeniyi Roluga is the founder of Beverly Hills Energy Resources (BHER), where his responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, financial oversight, and working closely with the upper management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies that will position BHE as a leader in the energy industry. Mr. Roluga has a diverse background including business development, client management, as well as operations and project management, possessing 15 years’ of successfully managing high-performance teams, directing complex, multi-site programs and initiatives in technical and nontechnical environments spanning both Fortune 500 companies and medium-size businesses in Information Technology and Engineering.

 

Mr. Roluga earned his B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, a certificate in Subsea Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen UK, a M.S. degree in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado Denver Business School, Colorado and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), United State of America.

Adedotun Ogunwale
Executive Vice President, Operations

 

Mr. Adedotun Ogunwale is the Executive Vice President, Operations and co-founder of BHER with 12 years’ of extensive leadership capabilities and sound technical well engineering experience with the leading industry operator, spanning land and swamp operations. The scope of his well engineering experience covers office based and well site leadership, safety in drilling operations, well design, project activity planning, operational support and well site supervision. Mr. Ogunwale has also been exposed as a contract holder of the rig contract to technical and commercial evaluation of rigs for hire and to contract and performance management. Mr. Ogunwale has a passion for operational efficiency with focus on detailed planning and always aspire for a safe best-in-class well delivery performance.

 

Mr. Ogunwale earned his B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, a certificate in Oil & Gas Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen UK, and various international certifications including SIEP Well Engineering Round 2, Shell Advanced Well Control Certificate, IWCF – Combined Sub-sea & Surface Stack (Supervisor Level) and CIPS (Level 5).

Tokunbo Falayi
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

 

Mr. Tokunbo Falayi is the Chief Financial Officer with almost 20 years of experience in audit, accounting, consulting, financial management, planning, analysis and budgeting. He started his professional career with Arthur Andersen, one of the Big Five Global Advisory and Consulting firms. At Arthur Anderson, Mr. Falayi led teams on multiple client service engagements including Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC), Addax Petroleum and UBA on business process redesign and implementation, strategy review and refinement, business controls and enterprise risk review and electronic payment systems implementation. Mr. Falayi has spent the past 13 years working with several organizations in the USA in different financial capacities. He currently leads the financial management, accounting, planning and analysis function of a $2.5Billion corporation.

 

Mr. Falayi is also a Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He earned his B.A in Economics (First Class) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife Nigeria, an MBA degree from RH Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, USA

Dr. Minayo Okweze
Group Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser

 

Dr. Minayo Okweze serves as the Group Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser for BHER. With almost a decade of legal experience in different aspects of Legal, paralegal and academia within Nigeria and the United States, Dr Okweze prides herself as a trained Barrister who has earned various internationally recognized specializations and certifications in the energy industry including Specialization in Energy and Natural Resources Law, Specialization in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development, IRB Certificate, and Certificate in Legal Research. Dr. Okweze has also demonstrated her love for learning and her culture of giving back from her wealth of knowledge by lecturing at her local community college.

 

Dr. Okweze earned her bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria, Barrister-at-Law (BL) from Nigerian Law School, Lagos, Masters of Law (Environmental and Natural Resources law) from University of Denver, Colorado, and a Doctors of Management (Environmental & Social Sustainability) from Colorado Technical University, Colorado.

Anthony Amodu
Strategic Business Advisor

 

Anthony Amodu serves as the strategic business advisor for BHER. With over 18 years of working experience, 8 of which was spent in senior management position at Citibank as Vice President Energy, in the Corporate & Investment Bank responsible for managing both Local & International Oil Companies relationships, profiling potential clients and seeking deal opportunities.Prior to joining Citi, Mr. Amodu worked at Oando Plc as Corporate Development Manager for the Group with responsibilities including but not limited to seeking out growth opportunities in the Energy Space, Strategy and to set up an effective Investor Relations team.

 

Mr. Amodu’s successful investment banking experience cuts across 3 major sectors of Nigeria’s economy:
Energy – managing major IOCs like ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, ENI, Addax, Sinopec, Total, NLNG, and indigenous firms like NNPC, Oando, Pan Ocean, Marine Platform, SEPLAT, Sahara and Afren.

 

Food & Beverage – managing the likes Nigeria Breweries, Guinness, Nigeria bottling company,
Coca Cola, Consolidated breweries, Cadbury, Intercontinental Distilleries.

 

Manufacturing – Managing the likes of Frigoglass Industries, Multichem Industries, John Holt, MDS Logistics, Michelin.
Mr. Amodu’s achievements in the banking sector include participation in a US$500 Million ExxonMobil/NNPC Vendor Finance Scheme. Chevron’s Nigerian Content Accounts Mandate, Shell’s Account Mandate and Shell’s $3.5bn recent divestments Escrow Services. And Several Ace Team awards for transactions completed and profitability.

 

Mr. Amodu has attended several training courses including Project Finance, Credit Risk, Upstream Oil & Gas, Petroleum Economics, and Project Management Course. Mr Amodu is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Capt. Joseph B. Prebor
Director, Marine Operations

 

Capt. Joseph Prebor serves as the Director for Marine Operations with over 30 year’s experience in the Marine Industry. A successful Captain with wide experience in the offshore supply industry, with special reference to platform maintenance vessel operation, Dive Support Vessel operation on Four Point Mooring Systems and Rig Supply Vessel operation. Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Vessel Operation.

 

Capt. Prebor has a working knowledge of Deep Sea Anchor Handling Operations with the PCC system etc and also on towing operations. He has a strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate staff and relate easily at all levels. Has a working knowledge of the International Safety Management (ISM) System, since 1995.

 

Capt. Prebor is a Certified Lead Auditor on the combined ISO 9001::2000 and the ISM Code, Also Certified CSO. Trained in the UK While in Tidewater worked in the Safety Department as Safety Port Captain – implementing and conducting Safety Management System (SMS), Vessel Internal Audits, Drug Testing in accordance with the Tidewater and US Coast Guard requirements.

 

Capt. Prebor has the capability at very short notice to relief any vessel captain in the Tidex Nigeria Limited vessel fleet. Working in a challenging position as Safety/Port Captain in Tidex Nigeria Limited a Tidewater Marine Inc. Company New Orleans and in the UK. Worked as Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager with Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited, An affiliate of the Bourbon Offshore Group from 2005 to 2009. Capt. Prebor is involved in every rigmove plan of the company and directors on the operations where he is not onboard.
